Cooking Instructions: Soak pinto beans in 2-3 inches of cold water for 8-24 hours. Rinse, add to a pot with fresh water and spices. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 2 hours. Check for creamy, tender texture; if not, simmer for 15-30 more minutes. Remove from heat.

Care and courage

First I want to thank Brighteon for showing care for our fellow citizens and having the courage to take action regardless of the government resistance.
In spite of all the aid being rerouted, or destroyed, Brighteon, was determined to get aid to the Helene victims.
My personal order was the bucket of pinto beans. Chosen because of the nutritional value. The beans, I am told, are of the highest quality and fully organic. They are wrapped for long term storage and weather proof as well. No room for improvement because they are perfect in every way.
My order went to a niece and her daughter that lived in Ashville, but was fortunate enough to escape from Ashville, N.C. and find refuge in the town of Mars Hill where her mother lives. And although they were not flooded,
They received their bucket and bragged with gratitude on the shipment and quality.
I was very pleased to know the same nutritious quality was being delivered to others in need.
I am proud to have been a small part of Brighteon's aid to our countrymen during such a most dire need. Brighteon's aid will be a good and positive historical act of care and courage,
